Work Location: Hybrid remote in Puyallup, WA 98372
Requirements:
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with specialization in psychiatric-mental health
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Experience working as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation law and regulations
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as eClinicalWorks
• Strong understanding of utilization review processes and procedures
• Proficient in medication administration and management for mental health disorders
• Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions.
Duties
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe and manage medications for patients with mental health disorders
• Provide therapy and counseling to patients, both individually and in group settings
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
